BOCCE GAME story submitted by Bill Steele

We played our game with with Matt and Jen yesterday. During our last game Matt threw the ball and my dog Teddy made a surprise dash and got clocked in the head. The dog survived and I think it shook our opponents up a little because at that time they had an 11 zip lead and couldn't close the shutout. we scored 2 points and avoided the shutout. It was fun watching Matt's wife pound on him for nailing Teddy. Also, since my dog never saw who threw the ball ,Teddy appears to think I did it. He definitely is afraid of me at this point. Now nobody greets me at the door when I get Home.

Editor's Note: Mind if I borrow Teddy for the next two months? I'll feed him well - probably through a straw by the time I'm ready to give him back......

Follow-up: This whole story sounded really fishy, and we wanted some proof, so we got a hold of the Steele Family  backyard security camera footage for that day and went through it frame by frame. We couldn't actually see the perp throwing the ball at this angle, but did find proof of the airborne Teddy getting boinked by the "visiting team" ball.
