I didn't realize bocce was such a "contact" sport.  When Vito and I played the Deppongs last night, Vito was unloading the bocce balls from his carrying case and was throwing them backwards toward the end zone of the court and pegged me in the calf of my leg - hurts like hell today.  I think he was aiming for my head and his aim was off!

Follow-Up: Like always, we needed to verify the authenticity of any story submitted, so we managed to slip into the locked hospital room and snapped this picture before we were escorted to the exit by their Security Team. Well, folks, it looks like Vito hit his target with authority. We tried to get Vito's take on the story but all he could do is laugh hysterically. What a great bocce player!
